Building condition surveys

Building condition surveys represent a good start for when clients need to assess measures at an existing building. These analyses provide details about what clients need to work on in the future and the costs they need to include in their budgets so that their buildings retain a good standard.

Sweco conducts most types of condition analyses which are generally based on NS3424 Building Condition Surveys. We can undertake surveys at various levels, ranging from a general portfolio analysis to more detailed analyses of individual multidisciplinary and single-disciplinary building components. The level of an analysis must correspond to the purpose of the analysis so that all the relevant circumstances are detected.

Condition surveys are designed to obtain general information about the condition of a building or the need to making improvements or changes. We can also prepare special surveys of purchases/sales (due diligence) or for damage reports/expert assessments.
