Planning and design management

All major construction projects are preceded by an essential planning and design phase. Sweco's managers will plan and prepare the design and function of a facility.

This phase is a creative, important process where we and our clients lay the foundations for achieving successful results. Efficient planning and design management entails managing, controlling, structuring and coordinating the work and interests of the parties involved in a project. We coordinate communications between project stakeholders and manage the whole process.

Our experts manage this process by using modern tools, good systems and effective teams who employ interdisciplinary planning tools. We have the required expertise and experience for undertaking interdisciplinary projects, i.e. the client's planning/design manager (PRL), the planning/design group manager (PGL) and the planning/design group coordinator (PGK).
