Due diligence

The energy markets are changing rapidly. The Norwegian and Nordic energy markets are suffering from uncertainty in respect of price developments and new framework conditions - at both national and EU level. In its capacity as an engineering consultant, Sweco possesses expertise relating to any of the problems which can arise during the implementation of energy projects.

When engaging in transactions relating to development projects or projects that are already in operation, it is important to understand what the new project owners might expect in terms of income and expenses.

Sweco performs technical and commercial due diligence processes for all types of energy installations in Norway. During the last few years we have carried out several due diligence projects for HEP stations, wind power farms, power lines and transformer stations all over the country. We have developed our own processes and methods in this respect.
