Dispensation applications

Are you planning to submit a building application and are planning to build at variance with municipal plans and development plans, within four metres of a boundary or inside the 100-metre belt by the sea? Do the local authorities want you to apply for dispensation?

Sweco can help you to write your application. The regulations specify the contents of dispensation applications. It should be clear which provisions you are seeking dispensation from, which considerations are behind your decision and why such considerations have not been ignored. You must also show that the advantages of being granted dispensation would be far greater than the disadvantages.

Our planning and building law experts possess experience from the local building authorities, county governors and the Norwegian Building Authority. We can help you to write your dispensation application and make changes. This will increase the likelihood of your application being granted.
