Planning and architecture

Half of the global population currently lives in towns and cities. Sweco's land planners and landscape architects are involved in developing everything from whole city blocks to smaller areas. Irrespective of the job, it is our aim to create optimal environments where people can live, work and thrive. We work closely with other specialists in order to realise solutions which take into account economic considerations, the environment and people.

Landscape architecture

The external environment plays an ever-increasing role in creating well-being and good living conditions. Aesthetics, the environment and functions are the cornerstones on which our work is based. Sweco's landscape architects and planners work daily to create projects and solutions for the future.

Our assignments comprise everything from analyses and assessments to the detailed project planning of large infrastructure and power installations, parks and leisure areas, schools and institutions, green and blue structures, streets and urban spaces.

Ecological, social and economic sustainability are principles which we take into account in all our assignments. Sweco's landscape architects cultivate this during all the stages of a project and they look at solutions from an overall perspective. Interdisciplinary cooperation and dialogue with both clients and users are taken for granted in respect of the projects that we are involved in.
