Planning and architecture

Half of the global population currently lives in towns and cities. Sweco's land planners and landscape architects are involved in developing everything from whole city blocks to smaller areas. Irrespective of the job, it is our aim to create optimal environments where people can live, work and thrive. We work closely with other specialists in order to realise solutions which take into account economic considerations, the environment and people.

Consequence studies and planning programmes

Sweco's assessors and planners help clients to draw up planning programmes and consequence analyses that comply with statutory legislation. We offer full consequence assessments or reports on individual topics.

In conjunction with clients we identify any topics that require assessment. In this way we are able to highlight the consequences and effects of measures. Sweco possesses sound experience in assessing any methods that will suit each individual measure. We are keen to find the right level for consequences analyses in cooperation with clients and the relevant planning authorities.

Sweco offers a broadly composed team with skills relating to some of the following areas: landscape, local environments, outdoor living, natural diversity, cultural monuments and environments, natural resources, social infrastructure, traffic, noise, geotechnology and benefit/cost calculations.
