Sweco Norway’s Sustainability Goals

Sweco’s climate goals are in line with the climate goals enshrined in the Paris Agreement. By 2030 Sweco Norway will have reduced our emissions with at least 55%, and our goal is to reach climate neutrality by 2036. On a Group level our goal is to be climate neutral no later than 2040.

To make our mission of reducing our greenhouse gas emissions as effective and relevant as possible, we must establish measures for all our emission items. This means that we will cut emissions related to our operations, in addition to working to promote sustainability in all our projects.

Our climate goals are based on the framework of Sciences Based Targets, a survey amongst our employees and on Sweco’s goal of being a frontrunner in sustainability and climate.

During the year of the pandemic, 2020, we reduced our emissions by 40 percent compared to 2019.
